Hi community,
I have a question about i.MX6SL NVCC_DRAM spec for DDR3L.
I understand i.MX6SL supports DDR3L, but NVCC_DRAM for DDR3 is not defined in IMX6SLCEC Rev.3.
I guess, the spec is as following, is this correct?
Min: 1.283V
Typ: 1.35V
Max: 1.45V

Solved! Go to Solution.
Right now You may be oriented to the following voltage range for DDR3L
( till i.MX6 XL Datasheet release issue, where the DDR3L will be specfied).
min = 1.283 V ;
typ = 1.35 V ;
max = 1.45 V.
Regards,
Yuri.
Strictly speaking : "although the i.MX6 SL is probably capable of supporting DDR3L we
have not currently validated this feature hence do not formally support it on i.MX6 SL".
Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi Yuri,
DDR3L (LVDDR3) is written in several places in i.MX6SL datasheet (IMX6SLCEC Rev.3) and reference manual (IMX6SLRM Rev.1).
(e.g. "low voltage DDR3" in page 2 of datasheet, "LV-DDR3-800" in chapter 1.1, chapter 1.4, and also it is written in chapter 32 in reference manual.)
Does not i.MX6SL support DDR3L even though it is written in so much part of the documents?

DDR3L support is not fully validated / characterized yet for i.MX6 SL.
Regards,
Yuri.
Dear Yuri,
I think DDR3L is officially support by i.MX6SL since the fact sheet (following URL) and other documentations mentioned LV-DDR3.
But according to your reply, it is not validated and characterized yet, right?
I feel it is not difficult since NVCC_1P2V for DDR3L has been defined, and i.MX6SDL (maybe use same MMDC IP) NVCC_DRAM has been defined
