i.MX6Q vs RK3288 picture display(HDMI)

Hi,

     We compare i.MX6Q with RK3288 for picture display via HDMI interface, but find it is different.

     1>Condition

         a. i.MX6Q running in android 4.4.2, RK3288 running in android 5.1;

         b. Display in the same LCD screen via HDMI interface.

     2>Test

         a.picture display in LCD screen via HDMI interface

            

         b.we scrap the picture data from i.MX6Q DDR, but the picture is OK.

             

     3>Problem

         What is the reason , and how can we solve the problem?

Hi Jimmy

one can migrate to nxp android 5.1, it fixed some gpu bugs and has improved

L3.14.52 gpu driver as described in sect.2.3 Graphics attached Release Notes.

Hi igor,

      I have try android 5.1, but it is the same.

      As I mentioned in 2> b. content，the picture data in DDR is right, so maybe the HDMI interface affects the output data, but I can't confirm.

      Note: When I turn down the brightness of LCD screen, then I can see the light grey background.

      As to the test, I suspect the picture data is modified via HDMI interface.

     Hope you can check again, and find how to improve it.
