Dear All,

We have a requirement where we need to run specific application on specific core of i.MX6Q. I want to know which hyper visor is available and tested on i.MX6Q?

Also if i.MX6Q supports Asymmetric Multi Processing mode? Do we have any port or document available explaining this?

Regards,

Dipen Patel

Hi Dipen

one can look at third-parties

http://community.arm.com/message/15766

https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-94513

AMP will be supported by freescale software on i.MX6SX (there is no support for other i.MX6x)

[PATCH 10/11] ARM: i.MX: Add i.MX6sx sabresdb support

Regarding running specific application on specific core one can look at SDK

Multicore Startup example and link below

stress project page

i.MX 6Series Platform SDK

Best regards

igor

I have a similar requirement for a system i'm creating and it is safety critical.  Is there any documentation on the i.MX6D, i.MX6Q or i.MX6SX and isolating the cores for asymmetric processing?  I've seen the example but i'm looking for documentation from NXP that allows for AMP on these processors without using those specific OSes.
