i.MX6Q SABRESD android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga browser can't play youtube video

Hi All,

I tested android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga on our i.MX6Q SABRESD board.

I use the browser can not open youtube vedio streaming.

However, it is normal android_jb4.2.2_1.0.0 on our board.

Any idea about this issue?

Hello Peter,

The reason for the GA not being able to play youtube videos is because that version does not have codecs that have a fee (in this case, youtube has a fee). In the other case (the one without the GA) it does have them, hence, you can view youtube without any problem.
