Hi,

In i.MX6Dual,

After writing SEC_CONFIG = 1, is there any eFUSE that will change the access permission write protected ?
How about another state like read only or read/write protected?

Best regards,

Ishii.

The SEC_CONFIG bit disables/enables the secure boot feature. When it is intact, any code can be executed. When it is blown, the security mode is on, and only signed and authorized code can be executed. Once been blown, it cannot be turned back/overridden during normal operation.

Have a great day,
Artur

Hello Artur,

Thank you for your answer.

I think that write SEC_CONFIG bit to 1, SRK(super root key) fuse will change from read/write to read only

to block overwriting the has key.

Our customer hope to know which eFUSE bit will change their accessibly from read/write to

other one (read only, write only? or block all access)

after SEC_CONFIG[1] fuse was blown.

Best regards,

Ishii.
