Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a mistake or if I am misunderstanding what figure 64.2 in the i.MX6DQ RM states.

According to:

64.4.3.3 DTR_B: Input in DCE mode and output in DTE mode.

64.4.3.4 DSR_B: Output in DCE mode and input in DTE mode.

64.4.3.6 DCD_B: Output in DCE mode and input in DTE mode

64.4.3.7 RI_B: Output in DCE mode and input in DTE mode.

Ignoring the IOMUX function, figure 64.2 shows the exact opposite directions for these 4 signals in both DTE and DCE modes.

TX_DATA, RX_DATA, CTS_B and RTS_B behave as inputs or outputs, independent from DTE or DCE configurations, but the modem signals just don't match in this figure.

Am I getting a wrong interpretation here?

Thanks,

Guillermo

Hi Guillermo

your interpretation is correct. In general recommended to use

Table 90. UART I/O Configuration vs. Mode IMX6DQCEC
