i.MX6 - MPEG2/4 transport stream display at 1920x1080

Hello Community!

I am looking to build a small, low cost, embedded computer that is capable of decoding and displaying MPEG-2/4 transport streams at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. 

I am considering the Freescale i.MX6 and it looks good with exception of the transport steam input. 

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert the transport stream to bring it in through a different interface, like the camera interface or other?

We may still have the option of using a USB bridge but would prefer not to deal with the latency and restrictions of converting a video stream to USB.

Any feedback or input is welcomed and appreciated!

imx6 is capable of decoding MPEG-2/4 up to 1080p.

You can connect tuner with imx6.
