Hi,

I'm working on the implementation of a camera Omnivision 5653.

Is it possible ? If only the interface (DVP) is the same on board and on camera it will work ?

Can I use the camera under Android ?

Actually I've got an Omnivision 5653 and it works perfectly under Android.

Thanks for your help,

Armand

  1. Attached is the BSP porting guide for Linux. You can take it as reference about porting the camera.
  2. For the Android BSP, we have a newer version available on the web. please use the latest version android_jb4.2.2_1.0.0. And I attached the FAQ of Android BSP. Please read the section 18 & 19 about the camera settings in android.
