i.MX53 GPT(Geeral Purpose Timer).

Hi,

I am new to i.MX53

i am using i.MX53 QSB board OS:WinCE700

i want count the Pulses/Second which are given in on one GPIO pin externally,

i am planning to use the GPT(General Purpose Timer) Module.by that we can capture the external pulses as per datasheet.

so if any one have idea on this how to use GPT Module,if any one knows please give me the suggestion so that it will be helpfull to me.

According to the Release note document GPT driver is not supported in the Wince MX53 SMD BSP. However Please check the i.Mx51 EVK BSP GPT driver under

Third Party > BSP > Freescale <Target Platform>: ARMV4I > Device Drivers > Timers >General-purpose Timer Support

In iMX53 QSB Board the driver is available,Third Party -> Freescale i.MX53 QSB:ARMV7 -> Device Drivers -> Timers -> General-purpose Timer Support

Please share the example to access from applicaion.
