Hello Champs,

My cusotmer is designing USB Host(No OTG used) and terminated USB related pins  with according to the "Chapter 1 Design Chack List" of the Software Development Guide as follows.

USB_H1_VBUS: 5V supply for USB

USB_H1_RREFEXT: 6.04K Pull-down

USB_H1_GPANAIO: OPEN

USB_OTG_DP, DN, ID, VBUS, RREFEXT, GPANAIO: OPEN

Is it Ok to follow SDG for designing USB Host?

Because I heard i.MX50 EVK and the SDG were designed before the datasheet is fixed.

Best Regards,

Nori Shinozaki

Hello Igor,

They refer the schematics.

However the EVK USB is designed to be used in OTG mode.

These 6 pins are not figured out how to terminate in Host mode.

USB_OTG_DP

DN

ID

VBUS

RREFEXT

GPANAIO

Are they OK with OPEN in Host Mode as in the OTG?

Best regards,

Hi Nori

p.13 EVK schematic SCH-26721 has Host port connections.

OTG mode has the same connections, except that it

should have ID=0 .
