i.MX35 QSB: Update to BSP 11.09 breaks FullHD playback?

Hi,

I just updated my i.MX35 QSB microSD using the new packages from the 11.09 BSP release, and FullHD playback stopped working now.

I can play back some 720p material I have, but none of the 1080p clips do work.

Below is what I get as output. Did anybody else try upgrading and had similar problems? Is this a known issue (did not find anything concerning this, though), or was 1080p disabled due to memory bandwidth limitations?

(The  "socket(): Address family not supported by protocol" was there before, too, and did not cause any problems, so seems to be unrelated.)

Any hints what I might be doing wrong are appreciated!

Thank you,

Wolfgang

Sorry,

the edit did not get through.

Clock problem is also only present when not running as root. sudo gst-launch... works correctly.

Apart from FullHD still being a bit jerky (no thorough investigation done yet - video is still played as an overlay, which I suspect to be the problem due to memory bandwidth), the update really is a great step forward.

Thanks for the great work!

Regards,

Wolfgang

Hi again,

seems ito be partially solved - I could get my "standard" test clip to work when running gst-launch as superuser (sudo gst-launch ...). This does not help for big buck bunny, but thinking about it I am not sure if I tried it before on this platform.

However, there still seem to be new problems as with some clips I get this warning that was not present before:

WARNING: from element /GstPlayBin2:playbin20: Internal GStreamer error: clock problem. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer.
Additional debug info:
gstbin.c(2308): gst_bin_do_latency_func (): /GstPlayBin2:playbin20:
Failed to configure latency of 0:00:00.000000000

Playback is too slow in this case. Sorry, I can't provide the files as it is customer material. This is the info I get from gstreamer, in case it helps:
