i.MX25 Power Down Sequence Clarification

We are trying to mate the MMPF0200 PMIC with the i.MX25.

The power down sequence requirement in the IMX25CEC datasheet is not clear and customer needs clarification. In section 3.2.3 it says that the particular power down sequence is recommended but there is a note saying all the rails can be shut off simultaneously.

Is it acceptable to turn off the rails all at once by pulling the PWRON pin of the PF0200 low?

Thanks.

Hi Anand,

Just received response from RnD. Turning off all the supplies at the same time won’t impact DryIce contents, so it is safe to use it as power off sequence.

Best regards.

Jorge.
