Hello,

My board (i.MX 8MQuad EVK) has one 3GB (768Meg x 32) LPDDR4 IC. DISTRO is L4.9.88_2.0.0 version.

If I depopulate the RAM and populate another IC with bigger or smaller density than 3GB, how can I configure this change? Is there any limitation for allowed density size on my board?

Best Regards,

Jeff

Hi igor,

Thank you for reply. I've tried to modify the excel file "MX8M_LPDDR4_register_programming_aid_EVK_preliminiary_v16.xlsx" to generate new script file for DDR tool.

When I change density related parameters on top table, I see connected ADDRMAP* registers are changed accordingly.

Btw, which source program file defines these register values?

Best Regards,

Jeff

Hi igor,

Thanks. I will generate script file for different DDR densities by "MX8M_LPDDR4_register_programming_aid_EVK_preliminiary_v16.xlsx". DDR tool would generate updated c-program source from the script files I guess.

Best Regards,

Jeff
