Looking to integrate an audio application on the i.MX 8M Nano EVK. The application requires a microphone input and speaker output. The EVK has a line-out audio codec and USB interfaces that support audio input/output. There is also a 8MIC-RPI-MX8 companion board available for audio input. Some of the information I have researched states the EVK support PDM microphones.
Looking to start off with an loop-thru application that sends microphone input to a speaker output. Would need to have access to the input data to run through the application before sending out to the speaker.
What software(demo application, SDK, Linux, Android, RTOS, BSP) is available that can be used as a starting point to develop a solution with?
I have not developed on the NXP platform before so any guidance would be appreciated.
