We are looking to implement Spread Spectrum Clocking on the MIPI DSI interface. It appears there are 2 locations where this can be applied 1) the CCM (as noted here https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/iMX8M-Mini-Spread-Spectrum/m-p/1024187) and 2) the MIPI D-PHY itself. Is there an example or more details for how to implement SSC on the D-PHY? We see the register MIPI_DPHY_M_PLLCTL allows SSC to be turned on and some bits to set the modulation, but no definition of how those bits are used.
