Hi,
I'm working on a project, in which I want to use the EIM of an i.MX 6SoloX to connect to a FPGA. I want to use the EIM in async mode with continuous BCLK as a reference for the FPGA.
The appnote AN2680 says on page 12: "The burst clock (BCLK) follows the timing of the internal system clock (HCLK), in that the frequency of the system clock (HCLK) is mirrored on the external burst clock (BCLK) output.". This appnote not directly applies to the i.MX 6SoloX. Is the above mentioned statement also vaild for the i.MX 6SoloX? Can i use the EIM in async mode with continuous BCLK to access the FPGA in single word write/read operation?
Thanks, Robin

Hi Robin
>Can i use the EIM in async mode with continuous BCLK..
not sorry. It is applicable only to synchronous mode, as described
in sect.23.5.1 Continuous BCLK i.MX 6SoloX Applications Processor Reference Manual
Best regards
