how to test the magnetometer in mx53?

hi experts,

   In my hand, I have an i.mx53 smd board. It can boot linux without any display successfully.

   My question is :  is there the magnetometer in the board? I am not sure whether the magnetometer  is MAG3110 or MAG3112?

   Is there any demo application to test this magnetometer?

I read this file.

But in this chapter, there is no detail information about describing how to test this mag3110 driver.

Is there any simple test application which I can simply open this mag3110 driver, and read the data from it?
