HI,

when building gstreamer1.0-plugins-imx with yocto (6.1-langdale) it sequently builds libimxvpuapi2 which fails during its configuration stage on:

Checking for library hantro_h1 :
not found

The configuration failed

would appreciate the help.

thanks.

Hi,

Please share more details with what steps you've taken and error log.

Like what DISTRO AND MACHINE you build with?

I've tried to build with fsl-imx-wayland and imx8mp-lpddr4-evk. Found that some of open sources for this release have been changed. The BSP has been released a bit long. So, can you please use the new BSP and then built it?

Regards

Harvey

im using a custom MACHINE which is basically aligned with imx8mp-lpddr-evk.

I will try the new BSP and see if it works on imx8mp-lpddr-evk.

as I understand it, gstreamer1.0-plugins-imx should enable freerdp to work with the gstremer libs and thus have hw acceleration on vpu enabled, is it correct?

Is the build working for you with new BSP?

About the freerdp to work with gstremer libs, please raise a new ticket for further assistance.

yes, but only after updating the src for libimxvpuapi2 to a commit that includes this fix:

https://github.com/Freescale/libimxvpuapi/pull/62/commits/7ad208c83515c34f54200614e3ac6940a9dfb0fa

Otherwise, I get the same linker error during the build.

I suggest NXP updates the recipe

thanks!
