If there anyone meet the following problem when debug the Ethernet with the IMX6Q and AR8031 on IMX6Q-SABRESD-SDB board?

I have program the kernel source code and the uboot source code with the L3.0.35_4.1.0_130816_source.tar.gz . Then I program the kernel image and uboot image with the source code . I download the Image ,uboot.bin and the rootfs.tar.bz2 with Mfgtools. Then I boot the Linux system after I config the boot mode .

Now ,the crystal oscillator around the AR8031 has been up with 25 MHz. But the message display on the console as follows.

Now I can not make sure if there is something wrong with the software or the hardware or both .

How can I solve the problem?

Your boot process blocks because you specified ip=dhcp on your kernel parameter line and there is no DHCP server on the network.

Possible solutions:

1. Connect your  board to a network with an active DHCP server before booting.

2. Remove ip=dhcp token from the kernel parameter line. IP address can be assigned later by init scripts or manually.

3. Specify a valid IP address on the kernel parameter line. See Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt in the kernel source
