The Linux BSP already includes FlexCAN drivers for i.MX6SX (mounted as a network interface). In order to check the driver overview, hardware and software operation, source code structure and menu configuration options please refer to Chapter 37 “FlexCAN Driver” of the “i.MX Linux® Reference Manual” document (attached).
It may be also required to change the Device Tree file, as there could be some pin conflicts. Please take a look at Table 10 “Supported features” of the “i.MX Linux® Release Notes” document (also attached).
