Hi,
We have ported i.MX6 linux kernel 4.1.15 to our custom board and seeing an error/warning message related to eMMC memory while boot time .
mmc0: Card stuck in programming state! __mmc_switch
blk_update_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0boot0, sector 32640
Initially these error logs are getting frequently, then based on the link https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1333140
we have modified the udev rule. Then the frequency of occurring error is reduced, but still we are getting the error message. Is these log indicate any serious issue or can we ignore it? Anyone could help us to resolve the issue?
System Details:
Processor - i.MX6 Solo
eMMC - Micron
kernel - 4.1.15
Thanks
Shabeer
Hi igorpadykov,

Thanks,

HI Shabeer
one can try patch on
[meta-freescale] [meta-fsl-ppc][PATCH 2/4] udev[-extraconf]: skip mmc rpmb partitions
or post this on mainline linux mail list, as this is common linux issue.
Best regards
igor
