eMMC Flash for i.MX6 SoloLite Recommendation

Hello,

Looking for a recommendation for eMMC memory for a i.MX6 Solo Lite. Parts that have been tested and verified to work would be great. Is there any sort of list of these parts?  The part on the IMX6SLEVK i.MX 6SoloLite Evaluation Kit is a SDIN5C2-8G, 8G-byte, from Sandisk which is obsolete.

Ideally I would like a 2Gbit recommendation but any information on a recommendation at any density would be welcome!

Also, The iMX6 datasheet lists support for eMMC up to rev 4.4/4.41. How are the newer chips supported that have later revs of the eMMC?

Hi Mark

I would suggest to create Service Request for obtaining such list.

From boot perspective i.MX6 technically does not support higher eMMC standards,

boot ROM will fall back to the eMMC4.4 standard when a higher revision

eMMC is detected. For Linux there is patch for eMMC 5.0 so it can work as

an eMMC 4.4
