Hi,

1. There is no explanation of di0_sync_start_en in IPUx_DI0_SYNC_AS_GEN on i.MX6DQ reference manual.

What this bit can be enable?

2. Regarding to di0_sync_start, does this expand blanking time?

Best Regards,

Sugiyama

Hello Sugiyama San,

There are two modes supported from the  Display Ports in the IPU :

- Synchronous Access.

- Asynchronous Access.

With the di0_sync_start_en in IPUx_DI0_SYNC_AS_GEN you are enabling the Synchronous Access. In this mode, the IPU transfers a two-dimensional block of pixels to the display device, in synchronization with the screen refresh cycle.
It is called "video mode" in the MIPI standards.

Please refer to the section .37.1.2.1.2.1 Access Modes  For More Details.

Have a great day,
TIC

Hi, jamsbone,

Thank you for the answer, but I have a question.

Does di0_sync_start_en make di0_sync_start enable that means comparison of row number?

What will happen the the number of row was matched? Which signal is affect?

Best Regards,

Sugiyama
