device tree source file for jadard JD9365DA-H3 display panel connected to imx8mm core board

Dear team,

I am writing Device tree source (dts) file for jadard jd9365d (TFT LCD single chip ) display panel that is connected to freescale imx8mm core board

kernel driver for jd9365d panel is included by referring below  link.  https://github.com/edgeble/kernel/blob/linux-5.10-gen-rkr3.4/drivers/gpu/drm/panel/panel-jadard-jd93...

But dts file code reference for jd9365d panel is added for rockchip core and it can not be referred for writing dts code for imx8mm core board. respective rockchip dts file is given below.

hence requesting to provide some insights / reference dts file of  TFT lcd panel compatible for imx8mm core board as it can be used to write jd9365da panel dts code.

Hi,

i prepared the device tree file patch along with jd9365da driver patches for review for review. Meanwhile imx8mm board is booted with attached jd9365da panel driver included image but fails to trigger probe() of jadard jd9365da driver . could you please provide insights for further debugging of the issue.?

Hello,

Yes, it will be possible to connect the panel but you have to change your kernel to one supported by nxp, and with well written the dtb.
