cluster display not working in i.MX8QM using LVDS

Hi All,

I am currently working with android automotive build: mek_8q_car. I am trying to connect two displays using LVDS0_CH0 and LVDS1_CH1. I am connecting both the displays using LVDS-to-HDMI adapter. According to Android user guide, it states that one display will show the car launcher and other display will show the instrument cluster. But I am only seeing car launcher in one display and other display does not show anything(black screen).

Do I need to make any configuration changes?

My requirement: I need two displays simultaneously: One showing the car launcher and other showing the instrument cluster.

Hi Bio_TICFSL,

Thanks for your reply, I haven't created any dts file for my own display because I thought multiple display was set to default in the build. In the android user guide it says only to connect the two displays with sas cable to LVDS 0 and 1.

1.Do we need to create our own dts file for my display, if yes, then do you have any example dts file to take reference? .

2.what command should I give in the uboot console for getting multiple displays?

3.Is there any other modification needed?

(btw I am not using demo images. I have build the source in my system and then flashing)

Hello,

If you already have the dtb of your display running, then you need modification in uboot console.

Regards
