chromium-ozone-wayland: if we could run the Chromium application using X-WindowManager ?

Our project use i.MX8M mini Yocto Linux BSP 5.10.72_2.2.2

The version of chromium-ozone-wayland is 91.0.4472.114

Our customer asked if we could run the Chromium application using X-WindowManager ?

How can I do that ?

Could you please give me the user guide ?

i.MX8 series can't support XWindowManager, only support wayland as compositor.

Our customer replied the question: Can I use sway (swaywm.org ) display manager instead of X11?

How can I do that ?

Some customer test sway , this manager can display UI but can't call EGL on i.MX.

NXP don't have plan to support other display manager.

Customer can try  Ubuntu rootfs:
