Can you help me to boot new i.MX6Q SABRE board?

When I turn on the IC, it won't be booted and displays below error message. (Please refer to the attached full log file.)

Please let me know how to fix it.

Are you using the demo images or the images you build yourself?

When I insert the SD card into the PC, it looks to be corrupted and requires re-formatted the SD card.

Could you please tell me where do I download the image?

I will wait your response and then re-format the SD card & copy the image. And then I will try to boot it again.

I just unpacked the box and then tried to turn on the device. And I just followed the Quick Start Guide which is included in the package box. (Also I referred the video Getting Started video on the NXP website.) According to the guideline, the Android Icon should be displayed on the screen but there is only black screen. When turning on the device after inserting SD card, nothing is displayed on the screen. So, I can't do anything about it.

Do I need to use MFG tool to download the image to board directly?

Is it possible to download the image to SD card and then try to boot it up like as "Quick Start Guide"?? (Because I prefer to use it.)

Could you tell me what BSP version and Demo image are origianlly included on the SD card when I purchase it??

The different time you buy the board the images are different, here recommend you to download the newest images to your board. You can try to download the android images to emmc on your board, it's faster than SD card. Boot mode is also need to change when you boot up your board.

You mean Android Icon should be displayed on the screen and then go to black screen?

Actually, no image is displayed even android Icon. It is just black screen, so I have a doubt if it is defective device. It looks booting problem. Could you please tell me what images should be downloaded on the board? Do you have any guideline to do?

Hi,

You can download linux or android images to your board. Take android images as an example.

1\ First you need to download the P9.0.0_2.2.0_DOCS Documents, Unzip the documents.

2\Download the Demo imagesP9.0.0_2.2.0_GA_DEMO_MX6SD

3\Follow the Android_Quick_Start_Guide to download the images to emmc or sd card, need to change boot mode to download mode when downloading.

4\When downloading finish then change the boot device to eMMC or SD card, boot up board

5\Boot up following the Android_User's_Guide 6 Booting

Hope this can do help for you.

Have a nice day

Best Regards

Rita
