about i.MX6 wm8962's mic bias

Audio Codec Chip:wm8962

When I run Linux version on i.MX6Q,and I record file from MIC-Jack,no voice.And I check the EVK,found it no Mic Bias Voltage.How to Setup?

When I run Android version on i.MX6Q,have this Mic Bios Level

Hi Karina,

Could you show me how to connect an electret microphone to the MIC IN jack?

I tried shorting the MIC BIAS and MIC IN connections but there is no voice recorded, thanks!

Hi Dan wang

    For recording, user need to set the some parameters through amixer.  please try below command.

amixer cset numid=10,iface=MIXER,name='Capture Switch' on

amixer sset 'Capture' 100

amixer sset 'INPGAR IN3R' on

amixer sset 'MIXINR IN3R' on
