Yocto for iMX6 Solo lite - Stuck @Starting kernel

Hello,

I'm trying to generate a working zImage 5.15.71 for my iMX6 solo lite.

I tried both of : imx_v7_defconfig and imx_v6_v7_defconfig

But the result is KO : it's stuck at Starting kernel

It works perfectly with kernel 5.15.11 but I didn't find any Yocto official manifest with this kernel version.

Can you please either provide a working .config or a manifest using 5.15.11

Hi

The problem was that I was testing a kernel 5.10.72 with a device tree compiled from a 5.15.11 kernel.

So I solved the problem when I aligned the kernel AND the device tree versions.

Hello,

There is no official BSP for 5.15.11 kernel, and 5.15.71 does not work for MX6SL you need 5.10.72.

I just tried version 5.10.72+gitAUTOINC+06213bb011-

From the imx-5.10.35-2.0.0.xml manifest of imx-linux-hardknott. I used MACHINE=imx6qdlsabreauto

But it didn't work. It's still stuck at Starting Kernel
