I've noticed for a couple of weeks now that the download speed of the codeaurora git is quite slow.

I've got a 1000/1000 internet connection but cloning linux-imx is around 200-1500 KiB/s

It really slows down the build time on new machines from couple of hours to almost a full day.

speed test to particular server is not the actual speed in the real world .

3549 tasks and 5 cores only , build time will be few hours 3-5 hours , it is normal i think . as long as not drops and must rebuild

for full image say 6000 build tasks , it is 8--9 hours and / or a day , it is OK what , even here Singapore same same lor

(we even have PREMIRROR server too  still the same speed )

if you got 16 cores , 512 gb memory and 10T hard disk  i guess will be faster , say 15--30 mins done a build ?!

i tesed showed :  multi cores is very important for build , if u use VM please put more cores into Ubuntu than host pc windows.

Hi @Zhiming_Liu

I'm not using the VPN and furthermore I've tried it on several other machines and well.
It just seems that the codeaurora mirror for linux-imx is quite slow.
