Hi, I am using the Android Automotive 10 - v2.4.0 sources and have this successfully building and running. However, I am confused as to which Wifi device is validated to work with this. I see from the README in the source the following statement:
Currently, NXP i.MX platforms support Murata 1PJ module with QCA9377-3 chip inside,
and Murata 1CQ module with QCA6174A chip inside.
- i.MX8QM/QXP MEK: Murata 1CQ (qca6174A), PCIe interface for WIFI and UART for Bluetooth.
Is there a specific M.2 module with the 1CQ chipset that I should be using, and secondly, will I need to do any configuration for this module to work, or will the nxp vendor firmware work out of the box?
Hello,
According to Release notes for Android automotive 10.0.0_2.4.0 the supported Wi-Fi for the i.MX8QM MEK is the BCM 1FD BCM4359.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Aldo.
