Hello,

I have a imx6 board MCIMX6xAICPU1 board. I downloaded one of the latest mfg tool release from your website. ( L4.1.15_1.1.0_ga-mfg-tools.tar.gz ) I unzipped all the files in same direction. Then did those actions

1- connected the Debug UART DB9 to PC.

2-connected USB OTG to PC

3- inserted an empty (also with no partition) SD card to PC. ( We also tried with sd card on board, sd card on both pc and board, no sd card.)

4- Ran the MFG TOOL ( It saw the HID - compliant device)

5 - Press start

6- It loaded uboot, kernel  etc.

7- It reached  the "jumping to os image" state and did nothing else.

So SD card  did nothing when we insert it to board. What is the problem?

Hi ahmetkoc,

Don't click MFGtool, click your board *.vbs file on same location, Then you can flash it.

If you didn't understand attach entire MFGtool .

Hi ahmet

please use appropriate *.vbs file (for specific board and boot device), like

mfgtool2-yocto-mx-sabreauto-sdcard-sd3.vbs or other.

Best regards

igor

Hi ahmet

just click with mouse appropriate *.vbs file (for specific board and flashed device),

mfg tools will be launched with necessary for that board and device parameters,

which would be used when ucl2.xml will be executed.

Best regards

igor
