Hello Dears

As we can see in following two blocks, We can use system MCU in mid to high infotainment.

but in entry one it is removed.

Can every on tell me Where we need to use system MCU?

As there is a tight requirement of vehicle interface to have very low standby current (as low as 100's uAs), is the role of this MCU for Manage system power and communicate to the vehicle bus?

Can iMX6solox meet this requirement without system MCU?

Hello Mohsen,

Can every on tell me Where we need to use system MCU?

ANSWER.  It is not like you need to use the System MCU,  the idea it is that this device offloads the CAN traffic and only pay attention to those messages that need to be taken care from the main processor.  So I would said it is not needed, just to provide an idea of how you can came to a solution when the CAN messages or the amount of CAN ports are not enough in the main processor.
