Which CPU as core for a 30 to 40 usb mass storage duplicator under linux ?

Hi,

I would like to build an usb mass storage duplicator using an IMX... core and usb hubs.

I have already done some POC with PI4 and it seems the CPU limits the amount of mass storage device descriptors and i can't have more than ten.

30 is the minimal amount i require but this data is not easily findable in the specs sheets.

Anyone experienced on this ?

Hi @sebhuet,I hope you are doing well.

There is an imx6 series cpu = iMX6QP , iMX6DL
which has 4 USB 2.0 interfaces.

There is an imx8 series cpu = iMX8MQ
which has 2 USB 3.0 interfaces.

So, one can use these cpus in the iMX series with USB hu8b to achieve the target.
