Where to submit patches for linux-2.6-imx

Hi,

There is a very serious bug in the i.mx6 v4l capture drivers that I have a patch for.  These drivers appear to be specific to the BSP and do not exist in mainline. The email address referenced in Submit i.MX53 & i.MX28 Linux kernel patches appears to no longer be valid.  Can someone please post an update?  Also, should patches to i.mx related files which exist in mainline be submitted to the same list or is there a better place to do it?

Thanks, Sarah

Is this patch already on community Yocto BSP? If not, you may send a patch to the list and wait for approval.  (I do not know the Freescale channels for receiving outside patches....)

I think having the patch applied in git instead of in yocto is preferable because it's possible to mix and match between kernel versions and distributions.

If there is no official list, maybe an employee could sign off on it?  I could email it to the freescale employees who previously worked on that driver.

The git to upload patches would be: Freescale · GitHub

Sarah,

Please attach the patch here; we'll review and determine whether to apply internally.

Thanks,

Ragan

Thanks Ragan, I've attached the patch as you requested.  It applies cleanly against imx_3.10.31_1.1.0_alpha and imx_3.10.17_1.0.0_ga.
