Where can I get the release schedule of SABRE Platform's android?

Hello, Where  can I get the release schedule of SABRE Platform's android?  Or when  can we get android 4.2 cause I'm waiting for the external display support.

Android 4.2 should be ready by May 2013. It is currently in the last testing stages.

Why does it take so long to implement a new Android release? Are there so many changes between 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and 4.2.x (Jelly Bean) or had Freescale to wait so long until Google has finished it's part of the new release?

What will be the typical shedule for Freescale's new Android releases in future?

I'm using a Google Nexus 7 and Android 4.2.1 is availabe for at least 3 month (since december 2012). Is it a strategy of Google to ship new releases to other vendors so late?
