Where I find the DDR package trace lengths/delays for the i.MX7Dual?

Hi everybody,

I need to route a DDR3 memory for an i.MX7Dual (MCIMX7D7DVK10SD especifically) processor, but I can't to find the DDR package trace lengths/delays for this processor, an also I need to know if the package traces are symmetric or not.

Hello Oscar Duran,

When working on the layout using the i.MX7D please refer to the i.MX7 Hardware Design Guide (link below, you may need to login to download this file).

Section 3.4 explains the routing rules for DRAM. These recommendations allow to have a robust design. The lengths given are measured from the processor pin to the DDR chip. The package trace lengths are not provided as they are similar enough on all pins to be disregarded when working on the frequencies supported by the processor.
