What is the maximum SPI slave devices supported by SPI controller in i.mx8MM?

Hi, Sir:

We have a require to enable 8 SPI slave devices on ECSPI2 of i.mx8MM.(using GPIO chip selects)

But we see the description in i.mx8mm TRM denotes the SPI controller supports 4 chip selects for  maximum.

If we use GPIO chip selects instead of native chip select, does it still limit to four SPI devices?

Or it can support more than four SPI devices?

no, in case of GPIO chip selects it is not limited.
