What is the current status of HDMI-CEC support for i.MX8M Plus? How can we get it running?

Currently we use a Variscite SOM with Debian build. With "cec-client -l" we get "Found devices: NONE".

I suppose libcec does not support i.MX SoCs. Could you please advice how to get CEC working?

Well I don't know about the variscite SW or what it is included in their releases, so it may be a better idea to ask them for more information regarding this.

As for the supported feature in the chip, yes it does support CEC. The HDMI CEC library files are provided in imx-lib repo on codeaurra forum.
