Hi All,
I want to know the version of ath6kl driver in Marshmallow. I tried flashing Marshmallow on SD card but i could not do it. But that is another issue about which i am not worried right now. My target was to flash SD card with Marshmallow and check ath6kl version which shows at boot time.
Best Regards,
Hare

I do not know what is "android release (eng-L5.0.2_1.0.0-ga)",
attached documents are for nxp official releases (found on nxp.com) :
L5.0.0_1.0.0-ga, also Android L5.1.1_2.1.0 uses broadcom BCM4339
as shown in attached Release Notes p.4
Suggest to look at document Release Notes - it should be included in bsp,
it shows what is supported. Note, there may be other drivers, but they are not
supported (tested).

igor,
In imx android release (eng-L5.0.2_1.0.0-ga), there is atheros driver in hardware/imx/wlan/atheros/ location which is getting used ... and there will be another driver which is the part of linux kernel itself.(kernel_imx/drivers/net/wireless/ath/). What is the difference between these two version. And as we see, the one which is hardware/imx folder is getting used .

Hi igor,
There is another question in this context.

Could you please explain me why this difference is there??
Thank you igor for your valuable answer.
