In the application, we need to send packets every 20us over the PCIe, and we want to find out the PCIe latency in the MX7 Dual.

Hello Lawrence,

PCIe latency timer means how much time every devices on PCIe bus can be allowed to take, according to your application, it is scarcely possible to control transmitting data with so high precision, so suggest you had better change your thought.

Hope above information is helpful for you!

Hi Weidong,

I am not sure if I understand your solution.

However, ultimately, I want to send packets every 20us over the PCIe to thunderbolt interface and out to a PC. And I want to find out the latency on the i.MX7 dual.

One of the reasons PCIe is being chosen here because of its low (nanoseconds) latency, and I would like to find out the latency on the i.MX7.

Thanks,

Lawrence

Hello Lawrence Hui,

I have confirmed your question with PCIe driver designer, there are no registers in CPU for you application.
