Hi community,

I want to know what is happen if I set i.MX6 DIx_AW_HCOUNT_SEL or DIx_AW_VCOUNT_SEL in IPU to disabled.

Is set active window resolution to same value of display resolution?
Or other phenomenon is occurred?

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

These parameters define the Active Window of the Display. Each manufacturer provides these numbers as it varies depending on the specific LCD used. This is similar to the concept of front porch for timing the LCD signal.

When these parameters are disabled you won’t be considering these offsets and the image may not display in the entirety of the LCD Active Window or may have sync issues.
