My customer is wondering if the following functions are supported by the MFG Tool as they plan to set it up for high volume board programming.   This will be on i.MX7 Dual platform.

Flash eMMC

Install Public Keys

Set to shipping mode

Retrieve CPU ID

Write to fuses

Load data into RAM

Hi Chet

one can check *.vbs files (search for "7D") in folder  latest i.MX Series Manufacturing Toolkit for Linux 4.9.11_1.0.0 Release

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=IMX6_L4.9.11_1.0.0_MFG_TOOL&appType=license&location=nul...

Seems supported programming eMMC, SD, SPI-NOR, NAND, QSPI-NOR, WEIM-NOR.

Best regards
igor

Igor,

Please review this again.  I know the MFG Tool can be used to write to the e-fuses.   I need confirmation this applies to the Public Keys.  See the blog post here:

Burning eFuses on i.MX6 and i.MX7 - i.MXDev Blog

I also need to know if it can be used to:

Retrieve CPU ID

Load data into RAM
