What does set i.MX6 HDMI display refresh rate?

Hi community,

Our partner have a question about i.MX6 HDMI.

You know HDMI display refresh rate are several.

(e.g. 60.00, 59.94, 50.00, 23,98 Hz, etc...)

Then, what register determin the refresh rate?

HDMI module does not control and IPU DI controls it by VSYNC?

yes IPU controls it by VSYNC, providing data to HDMI,

one can look at example in IMX6DQRM Figure 33-4 and appnote below

shows how refresh is defined in LInux:
