We are thinking of using the the MCIMX6X4AVM08AB in a project. Are there any estimates of how long it will be in production before it is replaced?

Hi,
On the following page you could find the Product Longevity chart, which includes life cycle of each family, and the lunched date, you could use it as reference:
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/overview.jsp?code=PRDCT_LONGEVITY_HM
Additionally, the part details page of MCIMX6X4AVM08AB indicates that it is Auto qualified, which means that its life cycle is more than 10 years; please refer to the following page:
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/search.partparamdetail.framework?PART_NUMBER=MCIMX6X4AVM08AB
Hope this will be useful for you.

Thanks Carlos.
Unfortunately the chart lists the i.MX6 SOLO but does not give the launch date.
I have found launch dates given as 2011 0r 2012 on the web. The rev0 datasheets are feb 2015.
Does anyone know the official launch date?
Regards
Geoff
