Voltage on SNVS Supply

I am using IMX6ul processor with PMIC PF3000A3. We are facing below mentioned issue:

1. There is no supply available for processor including VDD_SNVS_IN.

2. There is a pull up (from an always ON supply) connected on a SNVS powered pin.

3. With out powering up the processor we are getting 2.6V on VDD_SNVS_IN .

In this case if I connect a always ON supply to VDD_SNVS_IN , then we are not able to turn the processor ON once the processor goes into power off until we remove power from VDD_SNVS_IN as well.

Some one please suggest what could be the possible cause of this issue and how we should solve this.

Regards,

Sadatan

Hi Sadatan

this may be board layout errors, one can try to make board

with minimal components soldered and check VDD_SNVS.

There are recommendations given in Chapter 4 Avoiding Board Bring-up Problems

Hardware Development Guide for the i.MX 6UltraLite Applications Processor

which may be useful to trace them.
