Video tearing using GStreamer 1.0 and imxipuvideosink

Hi everyone,

I'm running Yocto fido on a custom hardware board and using imxipuvideosink with GStreamer 1.0 to play videos.  It works properly, but there is noticeable screen tearing during playback.  I'm not using X11 so I don't think I can use any of the other video sinks.

I've looked through the options for imxipuvideosink but I don't see anything that would help.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Marlon

Alternatively, can anyone point me to the documentation for imxipuvideosink?  All I can find is what gst-inspect tells me.

I found a repository on Github for this project, as far as I can tell there is one person working on it.  They have implemented vsync, but there are still a few issues with it.  You can keep an eye on the open bugs here:

imxipuvideosink this is for imx, not freescale plugins, right? we don't have specific document for this plugins, gst-inspect can get more detailed information, I find a link for differenct plugins, hope helpful for you.
