Hi, I'm working on iMX8 board. For booting this board, I'm using SD card interface. I've formatted the SD card with Linux 6.1.36_2.1.0(imx-image-full-imx8qxpc0mek.wic) with the supported platforms/Demo images i.MX 8QuadXPlus(C0) MEK. I've connected an HDMI display with the iMX8 board using SAS cable and LVDS to HDMI converter to check whether the GUI is coming or not. I want to test the HDMI display for GUI. What can I expect on the display using the above-mentioned image in SD card to boot the iMX8 board?

How did you flash the images?

Can you see the boot log?

Hi, Thanks for the response.

I'm flashing the image as per the instructions mentioned in the section "4.3.2 Copying the full SD card image" from the document "i.MX Linux User's Guide". I am able to see the boot log from debug port and able to login to the system also. My ask is what can I expect in the HDMI display?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

For default imx8qxp-mek.dts, you should plug LVDS-HDMI to LVDS0 interface.
