VDD_CACHE_CAP ( Pad N12 ) in i.MX6 Duallite

The AN4397.pdf application note regarding common hardware for i.MX6 Solo, Duallite, Dual & Quad, says,

The third difference is about VDD_CACHE_CAP (N12). In i.MX 6Quad and i.MX 6Dual,

VDD_CACHE_CAP should be connected to VDDSOC_CAP, whereas in i.MX 6DualLite and

i.MX 6Solo, pin N12 can be NC.

Is it is OK to keep the N12 Pad connected to VDDSOC_CAP power supply for Duallite also, or whether it has to be mandatorily NC for Duallite & Solo ?

Hi Karthik,

I haven't got clarity on this yet. However I am following the SABREBOARD design, in which the VDDSOC_CAP is kept connected to the NC_N12 for Duallite version as well. Fingers Xed !!!
