No the dmesg doesn't show any output when connecting the mouse. On the host the mouse is working flawlessly Also the otpical mouse light doesn't turn on...
correction/addition to my previous post: I'm using the J10 USB-OTG connector on the CPU board with the provided usb-cable (Micro-B to standard-A cable and A-female to A-female adaptor)
The only usb related outputs in dmesg:
